The main thrust of the (NID) course was to explore ways in which existing products could be redesigned by drawing inspiration from nature. In this particular case, the product was a blue tooth speaker. Throughout the redesign process, the idea was not to tinker with the functioning of the product. As a result, the redesign limits itself to only incorporating cosmetic changes
